Customer Reviews
Consistently good experience
I ordered another Max 16 Black Pearls candle last month. It's my third time buying from them, and the experience was just as good as before. Shipping took about 4 days to get to me in Florida, which is standard. The packaging was secure, and the candle arrived in perfect condition. The scent is exactly what I expected, a subtle and sophisticated fragrance. I keep coming back because their products are high quality and they always deliver reliably.
Loved my Cities candle
I finally got my hands on the New York candle from the Cities collection and it's everything I hoped for! The scent is just incredible, really fills the whole room without being overpowering. The glass is so beautiful too, it's a real statement piece. It arrived in about 6 days, which was pretty good. I'm already planning my next purchase, maybe the Paris one! Definitely recommending this store to everyone.
Great value on sale
I'd been eying a Baobab candle for ages but the price was a bit much. I signed up for their newsletter and waited for a sale. Managed to snag a Max 10 Serengeti Plains candle during the winter sale, got 20% off which was a significant saving. It made the purchase feel much more justified. The candle itself is lovely, burns evenly and smells divine. Shipping was free because my order was over 100 euro, which was another nice bonus. Felt like I got good value for my money in the end.
Nice candle, shipping could improve
I bought a Max 24 Serengeti Plains candle. The candle itself is impressive, really a beautiful piece and the scent fills the room nicely without being overpowering. It lived up to the 'luxury' description. However, the shipping took a bit longer than I anticipated, about a week and a half, and the tracking updates weren't very frequent. It did arrive well-packed, so no damage, but a faster or more transparent shipping process would make it a perfect experience. The price is high, but the quality of the product mostly justifies it.
Good diffuser
Bought a Totem Aurum diffuser. Scent is nice. Shipping took a week. Packed well. No issues.
Quick delivery, good product
Got a Max 10 Madagascar Vanilla candle. Arrived fast, in good shape. Smells great. No issues.

Share tips, ask questions & help fellow shoppers save more
Comparing these with Diptyque, what makes Baobab worth the extra cash? Are they really that different?
Are these candles actually worth the money compared to something like a Diptyque or Jo Malone? I'm debating between brands.
Can you use more than one discount code at checkout? I have the newsletter one and saw something else pop up.
Is the "My First Baobab" collection any good, or is it like a watered-down version of the regular ones? Just trying to get a feel for the brand without breaking the bank completely.
Do they ship these amazing candles to Canada from the US site? Or do I have to order from the EU store?
